With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Barbara Lee Wolf (DiCiano) who passed away on September 6, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1946. Barbara was defined by her love of family, friends, and chocolate. 

Born and raised in Bellmawr, New Jersey Barbara was the daughter of the late Dominick DiCiano and Kathryn DiCiano (Rettig) and a proud graduate of Triton Regional High School class of 1964. She later moved to Gloucester City, New Jersey where she raised her family with her beloved husband of 60 years, Joseph “Jay” Wolf. She was the devoted mother of Joseph “Jay” Wolf (Marie) and Tracy Stefan (Michael) and dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. 

Barbara took great pride in her five grandchildren: Courtney Stefan (Richard Santosusso), Heidi Wolf, Joseph “Jay” Wolf, Greta Wolf, and Greer Wolf and found great joy in the family dogs, Stella and Nellie. 

Barbara was happiest sitting at her dinner table, surrounded by family, enjoying chocolate cake and decaf coffee. She could always be counted on to support her children and grandchildren at dance recitals, games, school plays, and all of their other activities. She was rarely without a Hershey Bar in her handbag because they were her grandson’s favorite. 

Barbara enjoyed long phone calls and opening the dance floor at family weddings with her sisters Donna DiCiano, Bernadette Miller, and Kathleen Papania (Anthony) as well as her late sister Dolores Burch. She also shared a deep affection with her late brothers Dominick DiCiano, Jr. (Sandy) and Nicholas DiCiano (Marilyn). She was predeceased by her infant sister Rosemarie DiCiano. 

A longtime parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church in Gloucester City, New Jersey, Barbara always insisted that the family arrive at least an hour early for holiday Masses so she could secure her regular pew. She treasured her lifelong friendship with her sisters from Eta Kappa Nu, her afternoons spent at her favorite local diners with the lunch crew, and relaxing at home with a crossword puzzle or word search close at hand. 

Barbara is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, her warmth, her sense of fun, and of course her big, beautiful smile. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday morning, September 11th, 2026 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM. Interment will follow in New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
