Benjamin Norman Anderson, known to all as Norman, entered his eternal resting place on November 16, 2022, at the age of 69. Born in Lawnside, NJ on October 15, 1953 to the late Travis Bud Anderson and the late Mary Nell Norman.
Norman was a graduate of the Marie H. Katzenbach School for the Deaf in Trenton, NJ.
Norman liked to read the sports section of the newspaper. He loved doing word searches and crossword puzzles. He loved all sports. His favorite football team was the Philadelphia Eagles. Norman would volunteer at the Camden Rescue Mission and he loved people.
Norman is survived by his loving sisters and their families, Maxine Toomer (Stanley), Rosie Anderson, Catherine Jenkins (Brauncy) and Marshada Chapman as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow at 1 PM in Waterford Memorial Park, 679 Pestletown Rd., Waterford Works, NJ 08089.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are requested.
