On Friday, July 30, 2021, died peacefully at the age of 75. Bernice was born in Woodbury, NJ. She was raised in Gloucester City, NJ where she resided for 28 years. Bernice was predeceased by her devoted parents, John F. Nolan and Kathryn M. Nolan (nee Bennett).

For the next 22 years, Bernice lived at St. Elizabeth Group Home in Yardley, NJ. The home was managed by German Sisters. St. Elizabeth's was a unique place. The ladies that lived at St. Elizabeth's were able to attend Mass daily in the beautiful Chapel on the first floor. The dining room tables were always set with linens and fresh cut flowers that the sisters grew on the grounds. Unfortunately, St. Elizabeth's closed in 1995 because the Sisters were getting too old to manage the home.

Bernice lived in another group home in Princeton Junction from 1995 to 2019. She had many great years there with wonderful caregivers. Bernice loved her friends at St. David the King R.C. Church while living in Princeton Junction.

In May 2019, Bernice's family relocated her to Beechwood Home in Riverton, NJ. In this home managed by Quality Management Associates (QMA), Bernice thrived. She loved all the caregivers in her Beechwood home and loved her beautifully decorated bedroom.

Bernice is survived by her devoted siblings: JoAnn (Bill) Lenover, Pat (Larry) Eggert, John (Leslie) Nolan, Kathy (Jim) Rusk, Joe (Kim) Nolan and Mike (Julie) Nolan.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Bernice's visitation on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:15 am at Saint Mary's R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am in the church. Interment New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
