On May 30, 2024, Mack passed peacefully at home in West Deptford, NJ, at the age of 96. Born in Orange, NJ to the late William and Bertha Smith. Loving and devoted husband of 54 years to the late Irma F. Smith (nee Estoista). Loving father of Steven Smith (Nancy) and Gregory Smith. Cherished grandfather of Melissa Ann Shaner (Brandon) and Adam Lawrence Smith (Lauren) and great-grandfather of Austin Lawrence Shaner and Mary Katherine Shaner.

Mack proudly served our country and retired following 22 years of service as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He was a retired safety & security director for Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors will be held privately in Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Monroe Twp. (Williamstown)
