On May 8, 2023. Age 97. Of Brooklawn, NJ. Born on November 25, 1925, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late, John and Anna (Albrot) Pokrywka. She is survived by her loving children, John Blazich (Mary Alice), Joseph Blazich, Donna Ciurlino (Randolph); cherished granddaughter, Alison Lynch (Shannon); great-grandchildren, Liam, Fiona and Nora. Catherine was also predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John Blazich on August 10, 2009; brothers, Joseph, Stanley, Frank, Adam, Mike and Eddie Pokrywka. She was much loved and will be missed terribly.

Catherine was a homemaker, bookkeeper and a remarkable lady. She raised her family in NJ but was a City/Philly girl at heart. She was very proud of the fact that 5 of her brothers served simultaneously in various US Military branches during WW II. She also belonged to a very special club call "The Greatest Generation".

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday morning, May 12th, from 8:45 am to 9:45 am at St. Joachim Parish, 601 West Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am in the church. Interment will follow Mass in New Saint Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr.
