On December 19, 2017. Age 77 years, of West Deptford, NJ. Charles is survived by his beloved wife Ida E. (Pantella) Elam, loving son, Anthony Elam, daughter, Vickie Elam, granddaughter, Taylor M. George. He is also survived by his brother in law, Joseph Pantella and sister in law, Elizabeth Pantella.

Charles worked for 25 years as a Rigger for the Philadelphia Navy Yard until his retirement in 2002.

Honoring his wishes, there will be no visitation or services. His burial will be held privately at a later date.
