On October 12, 2016. Age 97. Of Pennsauken. Formerly of Gloucester City.

Charles worked as a Transmission Mechanic for many years with Buss Transmission in Gloucester City until his retirement. He is survived by his step-children, Francis, William and James Schooley, Barbara Stevens, Dorothy Duncan; 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Charles was predeceased by his wife of 48 years Dorothy McGuckin Speas on October 6, 2015 and step-children, Harry and Edward Schooley and Carolyne Mahoney.

At his request, services will be private.
