On January 18, 2015. Age 89. Of National Park. Formerly of Gloucester City Survived by his daughter, grandchildren, siblings, step-son and companion. Charles was born in Maple Shade and was raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. He was a resident of Gloucester City before moving to National Park in 1971. Charles lived in National Park until his passing on Sunday afternoon, January 18. Charles worked as a cloth cutter of men's clothing for The Amalgamated Clothing Tailors Workers Union in Philadelphia. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1947 during World War II. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his U.S. Navy Honors and Inurnment Thursday 2 pm at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery: 240 North Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown.
