Cicero
September 5, 1937 – November 11, 2023
After a beautiful day surrounded by his family, David passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 11, 2023, at the age of 86. David was a long time resident of Deptford, NJ, before recently moving to Sewell, NJ. Loving husband of 63 years to Rosalie A. Cicero (nee Embiscuso). Loving father of Keith Cicero (Johanna Stutz), Lori A. Heberley (Grayson) and Tara Pietrowitz (John). Cherished grandfather of Hailee Pietrowitz, Kayla Pietrowitz, Morgan Heberley and Madison Heberley. David was the last of 10 children born to the late Carl and Margarita Ceciro (nee Montana). Beloved foster son of the late Earl and Millicent A. "Midge" Moore. Also survived by his foster siblings, Arlene Baker and Terry Moore and many nieces and nephews.
David was born in Camden, NJ on September 5, 1937. He spent his childhood years living in Five Points and Gloucester City, NJ. He then raised his three children in Collingswood, NJ. David proudly served our country in the U.S. Army National Guard of New Jersey.
David worked as design engineer at RCA, GE, Computest, Siemens, Danyl, Schlumberger, then retired to develop his own consulting company, Cicero Designs. His many hobbies included drawing, sculpture, and gardening.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitations on Sunday evening, November 19th from 6 to 8 PM and again on Monday morning, November 20th from 10 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20th at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sewell.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in David's memory to the Gloucester City Little League, PO Box 183, Gloucester City NJ 08030. The donations will be used for the care, upkeep and improvements of the Earl Moore Memorial Field. Please write in the memo of the check: In Memory of David Cicero.
