On December 27, 2018, Dee Dee died quietly at Cooper University Health Care Hospital in Camden, NJ, at age 72. She was the daughter of the late Onwood and Mildred Whitson Davenport in Norview, Norfolk, Virginia. She grew up in Black Mountain, NC. She was predeceased by her brother, Willis Darryl Davenport.  Survived by four cousins, James A. Register of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Shirley Register Bisselle of Adamstown, MD and Guardian from 1986 to 2012, Beth Register Elflett of Plano, TX, and Linwood (Skip) Whitson of Santa Fe, NM. The family wishes to thank Marcía Finley her Guardian from 2013 to present for her loving care, and the staff at Abigail House.
