On September 11, 2025, at the age of 78. Of Mt. Laurel. Loving husband of 57 years to Diane M. Solley (nee Bates). Beloved father of Dawn Monteleone and Donald G. Solley, Jr. (Deborah Hollins). Cherished grandfather of Paul Gaskill, Jr. and great-grandfather of Paul Gaskill, III. One of five children to the late William and Miriam Solley. Beloved son-in-law of Mildred Ruth Bates. Also survived by loving members of the Bates family.

Don was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a graduate of Cherry Hill East High School. He worked many years in the finance departments of numerous auto dealers in South Jersey and Southeastern PA.
