On July 9, 2020. Age 58. Of Gloucester City. Formerly of Woodbury and Cape May. Loving husband of Sandra L. Svihla Stroud. Beloved father of Robert Stroud, Nicole Soares (Marvin), Tabitha Stroud, Chris Svihla (Patty) and Jessica Procopio (Michael). Dear brother of Doug Stroud (MaryJo) and Lisa Van Hook (Tony). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart, Casey, Jared, Sirenity, Gabe, Brandon, Brielle, Karissa and Liam. Scooter was predeceased by his parents, Carrol Stroud and Peggy Setzer and survived by his stepmother, Jean Stroud.

Donald was affectionately known by his family and friends as Scooter or Skip. He loved to fish, being on a boat and being the grill master. Scooter was a dog dad to Brownie, DO and Chase. He loved the time spent working at Holt Logistics in Gloucester City and he was very proud of his 16-year drug and alcohol-free life.

Relatives, friends and coworkers are invited to his memorial service on Saturday July 18, 2020 at 1 PM at Lake Tract Bible Church, 650 Tanyard Road, Deptford, NJ 08096.
