Doris Burns ("Dory"), 77, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Dory was born on June 3, 1943 in Chester, Pennsylvania to Ethel and Gilbert Craig.

Dory grew up in Gloucester City, became a lifelong resident and loved living on Morris Street with all her wonderful friends and neighbors. During those years, she enjoyed her bowling leagues, was actively involved with the Gloucester City Ponytail League, and working at St. Mary's Grammar School. Dory most enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She made a lifetime of memories and was sure to have a great time wherever she happened to be.

Dory is survived by her loving husband, Duke, her children, Joanne (Bob), Susan (Bob), Doris (Dennis), Stephanie (Bob) and Lance (Joyce); her 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, her sisters and all her many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, May 28 ^th at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 9 to 11 am.
