On June 13, 2021, Doug passed away suddenly, at the age of 59. Of Voorhees. Predeceased by his parents, Theodore S. Soddy and Louise Gales Soddy. Survived by his loving caregivers and friends at Bancroft, PLAN NJ and his co-workers at Whole Foods in Marlton.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday evening, June 23 ^rd from 4 to 5 PM  and closed casket visitation from 5 to 6 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Graveside services will be held, Thursday morning, June 24 ^th at 11 AM in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gibbsboro.
