Obituary

On December 26, 2013. Age 79. Of Mantua. Formerly of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 50 years to the late Edith Toots M. Mahan. (nee Hallett). Loving father of the late Edward Mahan, Thomas (Maryann) Mahan and Teresa (Erik) DiFeterici. Cherished grandfather of Justina DiFeterici and Tara Lentz. Dear brother of Carol Suz Mahan and the late Patricia Pat Liberi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Skeets proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 34 years as a Stationary Engineer for Allied Signal in Philadelphia. Skeets was a member of the Townsend C. Young VFW Post 3620. He enjoyed trips to the casinos with his friends and was an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Monday morning, December 30, 2013 from 7:30 to 9:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Funeral service 10 AM in the funeral home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Memorial donations may be made to the Townsend C. Young VFW: 27 N.
