On December 31, 2008. Age 49. Of Sicklerville. Formerly of Gloucester City. Loving son of Earl ?Skeets? L. Mahan the late Edith ?Toots? M. Mahan. (nee Hallett). Devoted fianc, protector and companion of 7 years to Loretta Rogers. Father of Tara Lentz. Loving brother of Thomas (Maryann) Mahan and Teresa (Erik) DiFeterici. Beloved uncle of Justina and survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Eddie was a graduate of Gloucester City High School class of 1978. He worked 16 years with NJ Transit as a Bus Operator. Ed recently received an award for 11 years of Accident Free Safe Driving, and was befriended by many of his passengers. Eddie had a passion for music and enjoyed playing guitar, piano and saxophone as well as singing. He loved classic rock music and played in several bands in the past. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday morning from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, (at Brown Street) Gloucester City.
