Obituary

On February 25, 2011. Age 63. Of Gloucester City. Devoted Son of the late Elwood William Wrigley and Marguerite (nee McAuliffe). Loving father of John William Wrigley (Amber) of Wyoming and Edward James Wrigley of South Carolina. Beloved grandfather of MacKenzie Michelle, John Boo , Deborah Ann Francis, Caleb, Sebastian, Kyle James and Chole Alexis. Cherished Brother of Anne Palcko (Ron) of Florida, Elwood Bud Wrigley (Dot) of Gloucester City, Thomas Wrigley (Karen) of Florida, Virginia Yuhas (Gary) of Bellmawr, Michael Robert Wrigley (Josie) of Gloucester City, Russell Wrigley (Lynn) of Sewell, Judy Latella (Barry) of Gloucester City and Joann Wrigley of Gloucester City. Predeceased by his siblings: Harry, Marguerite, Joyce Walters, Patricia. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Edward was born, raised and lived in Gloucester City. He attended Gloucester City High School. Edward proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He served two-tours and received the Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star, General MacArthur Award, General Patton Award and the Commander-In-Chiefs Award for Excellence in the U.S. Army. Edward truly loved his country and devoted his life for his country. He was a member of the Townsend C. Young V.F.W Post # 3620 in Gloucester City. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Friday, March 4 from 9 am to 11 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, (at Brown Street) Gloucester City. Methodist Funeral Service 11 am in the funeral home. Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. There will be No Evening Viewing. Due to cemetery regulations, flowers are to be limited. Family strongly requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans: 333 ½ Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20003 " 1148.
