On May 3, 2022. Age 71. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband and partner of 35 years to Sallie Jo Jacobson. Beloved father of BJ Jacobson (Danielle), Richard Velazquez, Vicki Velazquez and the late Sandy Velazquez. Cherished grandfather of Jordyn Avery Jacobson and Cooper Ryan Jacobson. Beloved brother of Jose, Nicky, Jenny, Marco, Lisa, Eric Velazquez, and Oscar Ochoa.

Edwin was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Antonio and Zoila Velazquez. He enjoyed ocean cruises, ballroom, disco, latin and international folk dancing.  He was self-employed owning an automotive accessory store in the Quaker Town Farmer's Market for many years and also operated "Edwin's Automotive Window Graphics", where he made vinyl graphic signs and decals.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, May 21 ^st from 10 to 11:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where family and friends will share stories of Edwin beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private.
