Barnegat – Formerly a resident of Blackwood and Gloucester City. On August 27, 2022. Age 79. Beloved friend and partner of 48 years, Gloria J. Pendyke. Survived by caring friends since high school: Donna and Ron Henefer and Nancy and Greg Forchic.

Elva was born in Camden City and was raised in Gloucester City, NJ. She was a proud graduate of Gloucester City High School Class of 1962. She enjoyed playing sports in high school especially basketball and softball. Elva was a longtime fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.

Friends and former classmates are kindly invited to attend Elva's visitation on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Episcopal Religious Service officiated  by Mother Mantelle Bradley 2:30 pm in the funeral home. Cremation private and Inurnment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing at a later date.
