On November 5, 2012. Age 68. Of Gloucester City. Devoted Son of the late Elwood William Wrigley and Marguerite (nee McAuliffe). Loving and Devoted Husband of 45 years to Dorothy Dot (nee Lang). Beloved Father of Joseph Bud Wrigley (Krista). Dear Grandfather of Natalie and Angela. Cherished Brother of 7 and predeceased by 5 siblings. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Elwood was known to all as Bud and was a lifelong resident of Gloucester City. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Bud was a member of the Townsend C. Young V.F.W Post # 3620 in Gloucester City. He was very proud of his 37 year membership to the Teamsters Union Local # 676 and his working for John Jeffrey Corporation in Gloucester City. After his retirement from John Jeffrey, he worked 5 years as a custodian in the Haddonfield School District. He was an associate member of the Cape May County Emerald Society and the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge # 1896. Bud was a devoted parishioner for many years of Saint Marys R.C. Church in Gloucester City. Relatives, friends and members of all Buds organizations are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Friday Evening from 6 to 9 pm and Saturday morning from 9 am to 11 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon at Saint Marys R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors at Camden County Veterans Cemetery at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
