Surrounded by her loving family at home in Voorhees, Emilia passed peacefully on January 12, 2024, at the age of 93. Loving and devoted wife of 71 years to the late Joseph Iannaccone. Loving "Mamma" of Celeste Cinalli and her husband, Nick, Louis Iannaccone and Antoinette Bonfiglio and her husband, Tom. Cherished Grandmom of Domenick Cinalli (Gigi), Joseph Cinalli (Erin), Jacquelene Candelori (John) and Celeste Bonfiglio (John fiancée). Loving great grandmom of Lino, Maryann, Emilia, Joseph and Elliana. Beloved sister of Maria Lauria. Predeceased by her parents, Pasquale and Celeste Schiavone; and her siblings, Antonio and Raffaele Schiavone.
Emilia (Melina) was born in Castelfranci, Italy on August 25, 1930. She immigrated to the United States and settled in Philadelphia, PA, where she worked many years as a seamstress for Stanley Blacker. Emilia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmom and her family was always her top priority. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Emilia will forever be remembered as "The Greatest Mom".
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday morning, January 20th from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 27 Kresson-Gibbsboro Road, Gibbsboro, NJ 08026. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM in the church. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill.
