Of Collingswood, on September 4, 2025, at the age of 51. Born in Philadelphia, PA. He leaves behind his loving parents Eugene R. Widmann and Carol Iamurri, his beloved daughters, Kayla Grace and Marissa Leigh Widmann; their mothers , Kim Dowd and Deneen Scully, his loving sister, Deana Carducci (Todd), niece, nephew and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gene grew up with a natural talent for athletics and a sharp mind for games of skill. As a boy he shined on the pitcher's mound as a standout in Little League and High School baseball. His love for competition and precision later found him at home in billiards, where he became known for his skillful strategic play.

Gene carried that same mastery into his career in the casino world where he was one of the few who could command every game including craps and baccarat. He was admired for his quick wit and mathematical wizardry. Above all, Gene will be remembered by his warm heart, soft presence and especially his acerbic humor.

A Memorial to celebrate Gene's life will be held at 12 noon on Monday, September 15th at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 10 am to 12 pm.  A small graveside service will follow in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, where he will be laid to rest.
