Gloucester City – On September 27, 2023. Age 92. (nee Hartman) Loving wife of the late Joseph Michael Budd. Cherished mother of Theresa Lynn (Douglas) Morrone, Jacqueline Budd, William Budd and Jeanine Marie (Robert) Ayes. Predeceased by her children, Janet Lee Long, Robert Budd, Kathleen Matlack, Joseph M. Budd, III and Lisa Ann Budd.  Beloved sister of Edna Jackson and the late Albert Hartman. Predeceased by her parents: Karl Hartman and Edna Hartman (nee Westgate). Devoted grandmother of 20 and many great-grandchildren.

Exelena was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was a longtime resident of Gloucester City. Exelena was dedicated to her job as a Sterilization Technician at Cooper University Hospital for over 15 years. She loved her family and enjoyed playing the lottery.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation from 9:30 am to 11 am on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Catholic Service 11:00 am in the funeral home. Inurnment with her late husband, Joe in Beverly National Veterans Cemetery, Beverly, NJ.
