Of Atco, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 1, 2013, at the age of 66. Son of the late Kathryn (nee Austin) and Ralph McCullen. Grandson of the late Margaret Frances (nee Whitlock) Austin. Loving husband of Jean (nee McGeehan); father of son, Sean, and daughter, Kristen; and grandfather of Aubrey McCullen. Survived by sisters Margaret (late James) Deering, Patricia (Eugene) Callahan and Kathryn Neal; brother-in-law John (Margaret) McGeehan; sisters-in-law Eileen (late Russell) Hubler, Michele (Robert) Wankel, and Denise (Gary) Miller, and many, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by sister Ruth (Francis) Boland. Mr. McCullen served in the U.S. Army from January 1966 through December 1968, including a tour in Korea. He worked as a salesman in South Jersey for Allied Beverage Group since June 1998. A graduate of the Monsignor Bonner High School class of 1965 and a huge Villanova fan, Charlie loved the Jersey Shore and bike-riding, cooking, especially Sunday dinners, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his visitation on Monday evening, February 4th, from 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday morning, February 5th, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Christ The Redeemer Parish: Assumption R.C. Church: 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ 08004. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM in the church. Inurnment private.
