On July 16, 2018. Age 67. Of Gloucester City. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Francis and Edith (Pollitt) Toal. George is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (O'Connor), loving children, Brian, Jennifer and Christine, grandchildren, Addison, Mason, Shavon, Jordyn and Buddy. He was predeceased by his brother, Bernard and his wife Sharon.

George retired in 2010 after 30 years of service with the Gloucester City Public Works, Highway Department. He was a past member of the Pine Grove Volunteer Fire Department, the Gloucester City Jaycees and the Gloucester City English Dart League. George also was a past coach for the Gloucester City Mustang Football, Gloucester City Little League and the Gloucester City Girls Softball League.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of George may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 21st at 12 noon in Saint Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Burial will follow in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
