On May 3, 2012. Age 91. Of Gloucester City. Husband of the late Jane (nee Browne). Beloved Companion of Margaret Fretz (nee Campbell); her children Kenneth Rybeck (Linda), Ralph Fretz (Margie), Kathleen Bress (Neil), Anne Berkley (Joseph Rambo), Patricia Schmus (Robert), Megan ODonnell (James); 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson; dear longtime friends Tommy and Lynn Stringer and family, Bernadette and John MaGuire and family. Also, leaves behind family members in Germany. Jerry was born in Gloucester City (He was not a squatter!) He loved Gloucester City and all of his fellow residents and was a lifelong resident. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the 3rd division infantry. He was a longtime member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Oaklyn. Jerry was a former volunteer in the Oncology Department at Cooper Hospital in Camden. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday morning, May 8,2012, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City.
