Dr. Geraldine Ella Savidge Martin passed peacefully surrounded by her family on September 28, 2023. She was 88, of Oceanview, NJ. Formerly of Thorofare and Wenonah. Daughter of the late Maurice L. Savidge and Florence L. Savidge (nee Harrop). Predeceased by her husband, Richard S. Martin. Loving mother of Richard S. Martin Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth Heenan Martin and Lenora "Lori" Tetzner and her husband, John Tetzner. Cherished grandmother of Richard F. Martin, Patrick J. Martin, Hannah E. Martin, Samantha L. Marcangelo (Nicholas) and Jessica E. Hamilton (Matthew). Adored GG of Theodore, Benjamin, Annaliese and Caylin Marcangelo. Beloved sister of Lenora Savich and the late Ted Savidge. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Gerry was a graduate of Woodbury High School class of 1953. She did her undergraduate studies in nursing from Jefferson Hospital and received her bachelor's degree from The University of Pennsylvania. Gerry earned her Master's degree from Rowan and her Doctorate from Virginia Tech.

Relatives, friends and current and former faculty of Rowan College of South Jersey are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, October 7th from 10 to 11 AM at Rowan College of South Jersey, in the College Center on Campus in the Mezzanine, 1400 Tanyard Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Her Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Harry Gutelius and Brother Tom Osorio of Saint John of God in Westville Grove.

Please make checks payable to the Rowan College Foundation at 1400 Tanyard Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. In the memo, list the Savidge Martin Scholarship.
