Hazel M. Patton (nee Nelson), born January 12, 1922, age 94, died on May 15, 2016 at the Washington Township Senior Center, where she resided for the past four years.

Hazel lived in Gloucester City, NJ for most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel K. Patton, who passed in 2011. Hazel and Dan were active members of St. Mary's Parish, Gloucester City. Hazel was employed for twenty-eight years at Gloucester Catholic High in the school's cafeteria, eventually working her way to manager. She retired in 1998 at 76 years of age.

Devoted mother, she is survived by two daughters, Kathleen A. (Stephen) Blake and Patricia (Stephen) Hause, granddaughters Kelly Whiton, Adeline (William) Sarino, Kristine (Thomas) Connelly, Sherry (Michael) Doyle and Megan Hause, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may join the family to celebrate Hazel's life for her viewing on Saturday morning, May 21, 2016 from 9:30 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth  St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
