Williamstown, NJ formerly of Deptford. On August 7, 2024. Age 72. Born in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late, George and Pearl (Dubell) Panagos. Helen is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Charles R. Steel; sons, Justin (Stephanie), Trevor (Rheena); cherished grandchildren, Talan, Giavanna, Asten; her brother, James Panagos (Diane), and many nieces and nephews. Helen was also predeceased by her son Damien Steel in September of 2018.

Helen retired in 2019 after 20 years working as a teacher's aide with the Gloucester County Special Services School in Deptford, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to Helen's visitation on Thursday, August 15th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Catholic Service 12 noon in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
