Obituary

On March 17, 2018, Age 72, Formerly of Gloucester City,
Of Bellmawr, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Audubon, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Theresa (Simmerman) Coleman. Ida is survived by her daughter, Ida Jennings (Jeff), three grandsons, Tyler (Sweetpea), Brandon (Porkypine) and Jason (Badass). She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Bogardus (Don) and Theresa Sanders, as well as many nieces and nephews including her loving niece, Gina Coleman. Ida is also survived by two of her lifelong friends, MaryJane VanFossen and Norma Diering. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Loving companion of her beloved dog, "Lady."

Ida worked as an assembly worker at Schlesinger Brothers making leather brief bags for 14 years. She then worked for Nine West for 14 years before retiring in 2009. Ida enjoyed going to the shore to go fishing and crabbing. She also liked her visits to Virginia.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 12 noon on March 24th, at McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 10 am to 12 noon. Burial will be privately in Union Cemetery, Gloucester City at a later date.
