Obituary

On September 9, 2016. Age 78. Of Gloucester City. Predeceased by his parents, John and Grace Groff. Loving brother of Dorothy Randolph (late Ralph) and Guy Groff (Mary Ann). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Grant was a graduate of Gloucester City High School class of 1955. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. Grant started with the Gloucester City Volunteer Fire Department No. 1 in 1964, working his way up the ranks to Captain. He was a career firefighter with Gloucester City Fire Department from 1970 to his retirement in 2000.

Relatives, friends and fellow firefighters are invited to his viewing on Wednesday morning, September 14, 2016 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 9:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
