James “Jim” R. Stanaitis, age 69, of Bellmawr, NJ, recently passed away.

Born and raised in Gloucester City, NJ, Jim was known for his quick wit and generous laugh. He was an avid fan of Gloucester City and greater Philadelphia sports, with a lifelong passion for music and sports collectibles, and later in life, he loved visiting with his two grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Adrienne (Nelson) Stanaitis of Pennsylvania; two children, Raymond (of Texas) and Stacy and her husband Jake (of Pennsylvania); his mother, Dorothy Stanaitis; his sister, Maryanne and her husband Dave Wyche; and two grandsons, Noah and Liam. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Stanaitis.

The family requests that donations be made in Jim’s name to the Gloucester City Lion’s Club, c/o Ted Howarth; 315 Orlando Avenue, Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Please include Jim’s name in the memo.

Services will be private at the request of the family.
