On Wednesday, December 4, 2013, Died Unexpectedly at his residence in Voorhees. Jimmy was born and raised in Chevy Chase, Maryland until settling in Voorhees, NJ. He worked at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees and a dedicated volunteer at the Camden County Library Branch in Voorhees. Jimmy was a friend and true supporter of the Voorhees Township Police Department and the entire Bancroft Community. Loving Son of the Honorable Alfred Burka, Retired Judge Superior Court of Washington D.C and the late Joan Burka (nee Levy). Cherished Brother of Richard Burka (Sherry) and Suzi Burka Walsh (Jeffrey). Beloved Uncle of Katie Walsh McGuiness (Michael), Renee M. Walsh, Ian Burka, Brett Burka, Tina L. Walsh and Perri N. Burka. Memorial Service, Sunday, December 15 at 11 AM at the Judith B. Flicker Residence at Bancroft: 1001 Van Buren Avenue, Voorhees. (Parking available and enter through main lobby for the service).
