On July 8, 2014. Age 83. (nee Vasey) Of Gloucester City. Loving daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Vasey. Loving wife of 62 years to the late John T. "Pete" Marsden. Loving mother of Connie Roadside of Egg Harbor Twp. and Terry Malkowicz (Paul) of Gibbstown. Cherished grandmother of Dustin and April Roadside. Dear sister of Georgeanna Blair and Joseph Vasey. Predeceased by her brothers George Vasey (Doris), Bruce Vasey (Ellen), Raymond Vasey (surv. Lydia) and Russell Vasey and her sisters Mae Marsden (James), Jane Stiles (Fred) and Marie Ryan. Also survived by her step-grandchildren Adam and Craig Malkowicz of Woodbury. Jean was a resident of Gloucester City since 1954. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church and involved with the "Sound of Youth" in Gloucester City. Jean worked many years in the cafeteria at Gloucester High School and GE. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday morning, July 14, 2014 from 9 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
