With the same grace and dignity that she lived her life, Joan passed into Eternity on December 5, 2013 leaving beautiful memories to be treasured by her son, Carl (Maryanne), forever friends, Pat, Thomas, Sue and Jane. Her wonderful always there nephews and nieces, Paul, Anthony, Bruce, Michael, Kelly, Louisa and her own Paul Newman , Tommy (deceased). Joan is a graduate of Camden Catholic High School, West Jersey School of Nursing, and The Graduate Hospital School of Anesthesia. Joan spent her entire professional career with the West Jersey Anesthesia Associates. Known to everyone as a gourmet cook, and great hostess, it was a party or dinner invitation that was a joy to open. In her earlier years, Joan loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Italy, Ireland, Paris, Portugal and Spain. Also, to many of the Islands, her favorites being St. Martin and Hawaii. For the last many years, it has simply been the beautiful Jersey shore and a little Golf. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her viewing on Monday morning, December 9, 2013 from 9 to 11 AM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Funeral service 11 AM in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Josephs Mausoleum, Chews Landing, NJ.
