On July 22, 2020. Age 72. Of Vineland. In the loving care of her sister, nieces, nephews and caregivers of Oaks Integrated Care. Joann was born in Newark, NJ. Loving daughter of the late Saul Alston, Sr. and Emma Louise Alston (nee Pulley). Cherished sister of Wilhelmina Gregory, her twin-brother, Eugene Clay Alston and the late Saul Alston, Jr. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Survived by her devoted caregivers and friends at Oaks Integrated Care.

Relatives and friends had a private viewing at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Burial and Service followed at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield where she will be buried with her mother.
