Obituary

Of Fort Myers, FL (nee Scutt), passed away on November 28, 2012, at the age of 88. She was the daughter of George and Joanna Scutt (nee Hagerty). Nancy was born and raised in Westville and graduated from Woodbury High School. She was the original owner of Westbrook Bowling Lanes in Brooklawn and spent many enjoyable years bowling in several leagues and in National Tournaments. She was the past president of the Westville PTA and was also the first president of the Gateway High School PTA in Deptford. Nancy is survived by her husband James A. Al Hudson and was predeceased by her daughter Joann Thompson, her brothers George Scutt (Agnes) and Joseph Yager (surviving Anita). She is also survived by her children Joseph Todd (late Cheryl), Nancy Gruber, Glenn Todd (Patricia), Jean Kaye (Michael) and James Hudson (Jackie) and by 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was a member of the Chapel of Cypress Cove in Fort Myers, FL and a former member of the Westville Baptist Church for over 50 years. She also attended Brooklawn United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday evening, December 3rd, from 6 to 8 PM and again on Tuesday morning, December 4th, from 10 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Methodist Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM in the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Dan Amey of the Brooklawn United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Hope Hospice: 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
