On December 30, 2022. Age 86. Of Gloucester City, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ he was the son of the late John and Olga (Nazaruk) Zawora; Survived by his wife, Constance; father of Judi (McAteer), John, Nancy (Storey), Thomas, Kenneth, Gerard; brother of Loretta Borowski, Cecilia Piccini; grandfather of 15.

John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and worked as an airplane mechanic and inspector with US Air in Philadelphia, PA. He enjoyed games of chance, drawing, writing and membership in the American Legion and VFW.

A Memorial Service in celebration of John, will be held on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 at 11:30 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 10 am to 11:30 am. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm in BG. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ.
