Gloucester City – On May 1, 2023. Age 68. Peacefully in the loving care of his family. Loving husband of Jennifer Lynn Laneader (nee Hayes). Predeceased by his first wife, Gwendolyn Laneader (nee Garrett) who passed away on June 17, 2019. Devoted father of John A. (Christina) Laneader, Jr., Laura Laneader and the late Baby Elizabeth Ann Laneader. Predeceased by his parents, John and Agnes C. Laneader (nee Prepsel) and his brother, Mark Laneader. Cherished grandfather of John A. Laneader, III, Andrew, Alexis, Arianna and Ayden.

John was born in Camden and was a graduate of the class of 1973 from Deptford High School. He worked as a warehouse manager for Fessenden Hall in Pennsauken for 45 years. John was a dedicated hard-working employee for the Fessenden family. He was a true family man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren. John and his family were longtime parishoners of Saint Mary's R.C. Church in Gloucester City. He loved going camping every summer with his wife, children and in-laws.

Relatives, friends and employees of Fessenden Hall are invited to John's viewing on Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2023 from 3 pm to 5 pm and Monday, May 8, 2023 from 9 am to 10:15 am at McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am at Saint Mary's R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Interment with his late wife and baby daughter in New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr. Family requests memorial donations in John's memory to Saint Mary's R.C.
