Suddenly on March 11, 2015. Age 70. Of Washington Township. Formerly of Pennsauken. Loving and devoted husband of 42 years to Margaret L. (nee Lutz). Loving father of Karen Golden (Kevin) and Jacquelyn Salvati (Michael). Cherished grandfather of Kevin John. Dear brother of Eileen Hubler (late Russell), Denise Miller (Gary), Jean McCullen (late F. Charles) and Michele Wankel (Robert). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and close friends. Born in Camden, NJ, John was in the first graduating class of Pennsauken High School. He was a volunteer fireman for Pennsauken Fire Department for 12 years. Before retirement, John worked for 46 years with Verizon in Philadelphia. He was a passionate Philly and college sports fan. John enjoyed trips with his family to the Jersey shore. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday evening, March 15, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM and again on Monday morning, March 16, 2015 from 10 to 11 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul R.C Church: 362 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. (both Evening and Morning viewing will be at the church) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, March 16, 2015 at 11 AM in the church.
