Obituary
On February 28, 2017. Age 49. Of West Deptford. Formerly of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 23 years to Kristin M. Meyer (nee Houser). Loving father of Abbey Rose Meyer and John M. Meyer, Jr. Beloved son of Emil H. Meyer (late Margery) and the late Bernadine Dunne (late Vincent Dunne). Loving brother of Michael W. Meyer (Janett), Ryan P. Dunne (Christine), Timothy J. Meyer (Christina) and the late Vincent J. Dunne. Also survived by many loving brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved dog, Hewie.
John was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School class of 1986. He worked many years at Holt Logistics in Gloucester City and former member of the Sportsmen A.C. John was an avid Philly sports fan and spent many years coaching his son and daughter in football, flag football and ponytail softball in Gloucester City.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4th, from 12:30 to 1:45 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass 2 PM in the church. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to: Meyer Children Educational Fund, P.O. Box 358, Gloucester City, NJ 08030.
