On November 12, 2024. Age 76. Of Gloucester City. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Frank Richard and Margaret Ann (Styne) Rutan.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Genevieve (Sooy) Rutan; loving children, Nicole Rutan, John H. Rutan (Catherine); cherished grandchildren, Marissa, Nathan, Tonya, Kayla, Amanda and 4 great grandchildren.

John worked as an electrician for many years before finding his passion selling antiques and yard sale items at the Berlin and Columbus Farmers Markets. He loved playing pool and played in leagues at the I.C.A.C. Club in Gloucester City and the Hideaway Bar in Brooklawn, NJ.

Honoring John's wishes, cremation was private and there will be no services at this time.
