On July 13, 2025. Age 61. Of Egg Harbor Township. Formerly of Somers Point and Pleasantville.  Predeceased by his parents, James M. Segars and Helene J. Segars (nee Tumolo). Loving husband of the late Kathy C. Segars (nee Murphy). Dear father of John Segars, Michael (Courtney) Segars and James (Dalia) Segars.

Devoted brother of Joseph Ennis, Sonny (Re) Ennis, Bowie (Katie) Johnson, Sissy (Bill) Rusk, Barbara (Mike) Murphy, Linda (Frank Deceased) Sciullo, Donna (Joe) Micchelli, Denise (Greg Deceased) Pierce. Adored grandfather of Dash, Chloe, Kinley and Hazley. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend John's visitation on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at St. Vincent dePaul R.C. Church: 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am in the church. Interment with his late wife in Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Township.
