On August 5, 2017. Age 56. Of Gloucester City. Loving father of Andrew J. Thom, John J. Thom, III (Lauren Stackhouse) and William A. Thom. Beloved son of Mildred Stubbs (nee Murray) and the late John J. Thom, Sr. Also survived by his loving aunts, Diane and Eileen Murray; cousin Scott Murray; sister-in-law, Ruth Ferry and her husband Gus and nephews, Richard Weygand and David Weygand.

John proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He was a master painter and was previously employed by Borkon Truckarama Corp. in Maple Shade.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday morning, August 12, 2017 from 10 to 11:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
