National Park – On December 18, 2020. Age 91. Loving husband of 53 years to the late Betty Joyce Zindel (nee Hughes). Loving father of John "Jack" R. Zindel, IV (Lorraine), Linda Miller, Michael J. Zindel (Susan) and the late Gay Smithson. Cherished grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 6. Also survived by his beloved brother, Milton C. Zindel, Sr.

John proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a 50-year member of the Local Union #420 Pipefitters and Steamfitters in Philadelphia, PA. Having previously resided in South Carolina, John was a resident of National Park since 2000.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Due to the current pandemic, there will be no receiving line or opportunity to greet the family. Interment will be private in Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
