On August 2, 2019. Age 82. Of Cherry Hill. Formerly of Camden, NJ and Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Beloved father of Lucas Torres, Marta Burgess (Robert) and Marianne Lourido (Juan Carlos). Cherished grandpop of Lucas, Jr., Jonathan, Olivia, Sophia, Natalie, Joseph, Karimar, Isabella, Paola, Juan Carlos, Jr. and great-grandpop of Brandon "Shaggy". Beloved brother of Miguel Torres, William Torres, Raphael Torres and Judy Pabon.

Jose proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked many years as a supervisor for the U.S. Treasury Department in New York City.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service with Military Honors on Tuesday, August 20 ^th , 2019 at 1:30 PM in the shelter of the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ. Please arrive at cemetery by 1:15 pm.
