Survived by his loving companion of 29 years, Amelia Fountain and her children, Alfred Aldy DiGiacomo (Tina), Vincent DiGiacomo (Dawn) and Georgeanne Fagan (John). Dear brother of Frank Koenig and Maria Shaner. Also survived by Amelias 6 grandchildren. Joseph proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked many years at Owens Corning in Barrington. At his request, cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to his Catholic prayers of committal on Thursday at 12:30 PM in Brig.
