May 28, 1945 – July 12, 2021
Surrounded by his loving family, on July 13, 2021. Age 76, of Gloucester City. Son of the late Joseph Tedesco and Marie Tedesco (nee Klaus). Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret M. Tedesco (nee Costello). Predeceased by his son, Ronald P. King. Beloved father of Jennifer Smith, Alex Tedesco (Kristine) and Joseph Tedesco. Loving brother of Marie Cole and predeceased by his brother Thomas Tedesco. Brother-in-law of Michael Costello (Rosemary), Regina Barry (William) and Frank Costello (Arlene). He is survived by his 8 grandchildren who gave him so much joy: Marissa, Frank, Jacob, Kimberly, Jaxon, Ella, Annaleigh and Colin. Joe is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, along with his GC work friends who he considered family.
Joe was in the National Guard. He worked for Regans, Ferry's, GC Building Supply and GCPW. Joe was involved in GC Little League and helped to coach several teams. Joe was involved with St Mary's Parish, as well as many events at St. Mary's Grammar School.
Joe loved visiting Surf City, along with one of his favorite places, Gandy's Beach, to spend time with family, Joe loved fishing, corvettes, football, basketball, baseball and loved watching golf. Joe knew how to do almost everything and was the go-to person for those needing help or instruction; and was always happy to help family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday morning, July 17, 2021 from 9 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral Service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
