Marlton, NJ. On December 19, 2023, age 75. Born in Jersey City, NJ she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Patricia (Roydanca) Ferraro. Karen is survived by her brothers, Salvatore and Michael Ferraro, her housemates and the loving staff and caregivers of Quality Management Associates who cared for her for 20 years at her home on Elmwood Dr. Everyone who knew her was immediately charmed by her. She was a legend at QMA.

Even though she did not communicate by speaking, Karen would smile, giggle, and bat her eyes at her staff, friends, and perfect strangers - especially to get what she wanted! Karen spent a great deal of her life at the Woodbridge Developmental Center and we are honored to have been able to give Karen the opportunity to live her best life in the community.

Thanks to Chimene, Kia, and the amazing staff at Elmwood who supported Karen through her recent hospital stay. Their tremendous advocacy allowed Karen to return to her happy place (her home) where she was able to enjoy her remaining days.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, December 28th at 12:00 pm at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ, where friends may visit from 11 to 12 noon. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park Cinnaminson, NJ.
