Gloucester City – Surrounded by her family, after a 28 year courageous fight against MS on November 23, 2018. Age 52. (nee Darrow). Loving and devoted wife of 31 years to Brian H. Higginbotham. Loving mother of Casey Higginbotham and the late Christy Higginbotham. Predeceased by her parents, Roger and Evelyn Darrow. Beloved sister of Buddy Massengale (late Kerr), Richard Massengale (late Joanne), Bruce Darrow (Jill), Penny Coxe (Ray), Donna Barcklow (Dave) and Karen Collison (Jim). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Katie was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1984, where she participated on the basketball and softball teams. While raising Casey, she enjoyed attending her games and cheering her on. Katie and her family made over 30 trips to Disney over the years and was an avid fan of the Rolling Stones, 76ers and 27 year season ticket holder of the Eagles.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, Dec. 1 ^st from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment private.
